Mike Epps Accused of Assaulting Female Comedian at Haunted House 2 Premiere
The red carpet premiere of A Haunted House 2 on Thursday night may have turned into a real-life nightmare for Mike Epps. The actor has been accused of assaulting a woman at the star-studded, event, TMZ reports.
According to the alleged victim, a comedienne named Simone Shepherd who says she is an acquaintance of Epps, the actor punched her in the face and left her face bruised and swollen. Shepherd was reportedly in the midst of a heated argument with Epps' wife when the actor intervened and reportedly got violent with Shepherd.
The comedienne and actress, who claims she has done some ghost writing for Epps and was invited to the premiere by star Marlon Wayans, posted at least one photo of herself at the event looking scratch-free and happy, but later that night posted a photo of her face with bruises and a swollen jaw.
Cops who responded to the incident say Shepherd showed no signs of injury at the party.
Epps has not yet commented on the debacle.
