Drawings from a 12-year-old girl from New Jersey are about to be in high demand after a viral Twitter post allowed the world to see the incredible way she represents Black beauty.
Dana Abbey, 12, has an older sister, 19-year-old Jaylah Abbey, who attends classes at Eastern Arizona College. While Dana's sister is away at school, she regularly sends her art pieces, Buzzfeed News reports.
At the end of February, Jaylah shared a collection of work from her youngest sister
Dana told Buzzfeed that she loves to draw Black women because "not many people represent black women and I feel like they need a voice"
One person was so inspired by Dana's work, she brought it to life with makeup and a photoshoot
