Cardi B Opens Up About Removing Butt Injections, Offers Advice
Cardi B has never been shy about discussing her plastic surgery procedures. However, now she is also giving fans advice for anyone considering enhancing their bodies.
According to PEOPLE, The Bodak Yellow rapper took to Instagram Live to set the record straight about getting cosmetic procedures done. "A lot of people thought as soon as I gave birth to [to son Wave] I got my body done," she said.
"In August I got surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers... if you don't know what it is, it's ass shots. It was a really crazy process," she said. "All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like 'OMG I don't have enough fat to put in my ass,' so you result in ass shots, DON'T!"
She continued, "When it comes to BBLs, if y'all want advice from me before you get your BBL done, you have to make sure your blood levels are alright," she added. "If a doctor says your blood levels are too low or you have diabetes or whatever, don't do it."
Before the Instagram live, Cardi told the Breakfast Club she recently had some surgical touch-ups done to her body in the Dominican Republic.
In the past, Cardi discussed getting the illegal silicone shots done for $800 in a basement in Queens. One of the reasons that she went through the risky procedure because her colleagues at the strip club made more money with bigger butts, regardless of dancing technique, according to GQ.
But if fans learned anything from her experience, it's to do your research.
