Rihanna Celebrates Being The First Female Artist To Hit a Billion Streams on Spotify

The Barbadian beauty hit the momentous achievement without having an album out in seven years.

Even though it's been seven-and-a-half years since the release of her classic album, ANTI, Rihanna continues to break music records.

The multi-hyphenate celebrity just became the first female artist to break a billion streams on Spotify and she took to Instagram to celebrate the moment.

The achievement marks another win for the 35-year-old singer and beauty mogul who was the halftime performer at this year's Super Bowl and will also soon be celebrating the birth of her second child with boyfriend rapper A$AP Rocky.

She also graced a billboard in celebration of Pharrell Williams' debut as the Creative Director for Louis Vuitton menswear.

The billionaire entrepreneur recently stepped down as CEO of the company she founded Savage X Fenty. She will remain the company's executive chair. In a statement, she said, "It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years.”
