Nearly five years after he was arrested for illegal drug and gun possession, it looks like Snoop Dogg can finally put the unfortunate incident behind him. Celebrity gossip site TMZ reports that a California judge recently lifted the rapper's long-standing probation.
Snoop was sentenced to 60 months of probation in 2006 after cops allegedly found him in a car outside NBC studios with cocaine, marijuana and a gun following a performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. With the probation ended today, Snoop only had to serve 49 months.
The "Drop it Like it's Hot" rapper's attorney told TMZ that his client was "pleased" with the news.
