BET Stars Shine in These Festive Holiday Movies to Watch This Season

Celebrate the season with BET and BET+ stars like Devale Ellis, Novi Brown, and Mignon, as they take on festive roles in holiday films.

The holiday season is in full swing, so it’s time to get lost in holiday movies from the past and present. For people who watch “Tyler Perry’s Sistas,” “The Oval,” “Zatima,” and “Ruthless,” on BET and BET+, it’s an extra treat to see some of your favorite actors from those shows playing different and, in some cases, more lighthearted roles. Here are prominent character actors from BET fan-favorite shows who appear in Christmas movies.

Devale Ellis (“Zac”) in “Meet Me Next Christmas”

Devale Ellis co-stars with Christina Milian in this movie, which is full of holiday hijinx. A woman goes in search of romance in New York and hard-to-find concert tickets during the Christmas season. Like most romantic Christmas films, nothing is what it seems, and adventure takes a turn when the main character finds romance in the place she least expected.

Novi Brown (“Sabrina”) in “Holiday Hideaway,” “The First Noelle”

Novi Brown appears in “Holiday Hideaway,” which is about a woman who loves her family. Still, they test her limits during the holiday season, and “The First Noelle,” a BET original about how Christmas helps former flames realize that true love is worth fighting for.

Mignon in “Never Alone For Christmas”

Ex-fiances get back in each other’s orbits just in time for the holidays and just in time for them to rethink their decision to split up.

Chidi Nwochocha (“Gary”) in “Something From Tiffany’s”

A mix-up of gifts causes strangers to meet and sets off an unexpected twist of events that leads them both to their true destinies.

Brian Jordan Jr. (“Maurice”) in “Christmas Belles”

The arrival of a new, handsome, and single pastor at church causes two best friends to question their loyalty to each other. The women embark on a catty competition to win the pastor’s heart, but during the holidays, they learn lessons about the true meaning of love and friendship.

Laila Odom (“Connie”) in “Kiss Me For Christmas”

A woman finalizing her divorce over the holidays meets an unconventional millionaire, and sparks fly as she grapples with loss and what she stands to gain regarding her future.
