Missy Elliott Joins IG With New Video 'WTF (Where They From)'
Missy Elliott is the latest mega music star to join Instagram and YES we’re excited. She’s already racked up over 100,000 followers since Wednesday evening with only two posts: images from a never-before-seen video. Until now.
Missy Misdemeanor dropped her new song and video just minutes ago. "WTF (Where They From") features fellow Virginia-bred artist Pharrell and the outfits, dancing and attitude are shades of 2001 Missy.
There have been rumblings about her forthcoming album as she has been gearing up for her return to music. She performed at the Super Bowl in February and dropped two singles, “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat,” with Timbaland in 2012.
Elliott rose to prominence in the 1990s and continued her success into the early 2000s. She has won five Grammy Awards, 11 BET Awards, eight MTV VMAs and has sold over 30 million albums in the United States alone.
