The final season of Scandal just kicked off and while the cast and fans of the show alike are in celebration mode over the show's explosive season premiere, one of the cast members has even more in store to celebrate as she and her husband just announced the birth of their first child.

Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn Perkins on the hit ABC drama, took to Instagram to share that she and her hubby, Adam Shapiro, were prepping for their first #TGIT night with their new addition, Albee.

Lowes and Shapiro tied the knot back in 2012 and she announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in May of this year that they were expecting. Back then, they hadn't settled on a name yet for their then-unborn child.

"We have zero names. My husband's a huge basketball fan, so for years we've been calling it LeBron," she said during the interview. "When people come over the house, there's a little bedroom next to our room, and we'll say like, 'Someday, this is gonna be LeBron or LeBrona's room!'"

Congratulations to the couple on their new bundle of joy!
