Rihanna Reduces Chris Brown's Restraining Order
Two years since the world learned of the domestic-violence incident between Chris Brown and Rihanna before the 2009 Grammys, Rihanna is signaling that the healing process is continuing with a new milestone. According to E! Online, the "What's My Name" singer has reduced her restraining order against Brown.
Rihanna's attorney has allowed for the restraining order to be brought down to level one, which means that the two can actually see each other as long as Brown doesn't "annoy, molest, or harass" her.
Brown's efforts to return to normalcy as a pop star since the incident have been well-documented— and not always successful. His last album, 2009's Graffiti, is his poorest selling to date.
Rihanna will return to the Grammys to perform this Sunday, but this time Chris Brown won't be there, as he's in New York prepping for Saturday Night Live. The two will again be in each other's orbit in L.A. next weekend, however, as Brown will be participating in the NBA All-Star celebrity basketball game and Rihanna is scheduled to perform during the official showdown.
