All the Pics From Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Bash Honoring BET’s Debra Lee

The star-studded gala featured John Legend, Chance the Rapper and more.

Per annual tradition, the Recording Academy and Clive Davis hosted their annual pre-Grammys Gala (Feb. 11).

In conjunction with officially kicking off Grammy's weekend, the event also featured BET Network's own Debra Lee as the evening's honoree, celebrating her incredible accomplishments and unrelenting hard work by awarding her the Grammy Salute to Industry Icons award. Ms. Lee also made history last night, as she is the first woman to ever receive this prestigious honor. Throughout the evening, many congratulated the chairman/CEO, with Mary J. Blige thanking Ms. Lee for being a strong inspiration prior to performing her hit single, "Thick of It."

Simultaneously, in addition to the star-studded gathering praising Ms. Lee and her many impressive achievements, BET Networks was also recognized at the annual NAACP Image Awards. With BET's Love and Happiness White House Special taking home the award for Outstanding News/Information (Series or Special) and BET's 2016 Black Girls Rock winning Outstanding Variety (Series or Special), there was much to celebrate this weekend.
