Meet the Woman Sean Spicer Told the U.S. 'Allows You to Be Here' When She Questioned Him About Trump's Administration
This is 33-year-old Shree Chauhan, who lives in Washington, D.C.
While shopping in the Apple store, Shree came across Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who she decided to confront about recent actions taken by the Trump administration
In the clip, Shree asked Spicer, “How does it feel to work for a fascist” and “Have you helped with the Russia stuff?”
“We have a great country,” Spicer replied with an uncomfortable smile on his face.
“Have you committed treason too? Just like the president,” Shree pressed. “What can you tell me about Russia?”
After her rapid round of questioning, Spicer then offered the line, “It’s such a great country that allows you to be here.”
Afterwards, Shree posted a lengthy response to her Medium page
"Unlike this administration, I do not believe in 'alternative facts.' I believe in facts. I do not believe in accusing someone of this level of racism, if in fact it was not," Shree posted. “'Such a great country that allows you to be here.' That is racism and it is an implied threat. Think about the sheer audacity of Mr. Spicer to say that to my face with a smile, knowing that he is being recorded on video and the position of power he holds in our government."
