Jay Z and Drake Featured on Justin Timberlake Album
Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z made magic on "Suit & Tie" and their Legends of the Summer tour, so it's only right that they keep the momentum going.
Hov will appear on "Murder" off JT's forthcoming The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, according to the updated album tracklist posted on Amazon UK this morning. Drake also made the cut, joining Timberlake for "Cabaret."
The Tennessee crooner confirmed the follow-up release in March but not much else, taking fans on a social-media treasure hunt of sorts to reveal new information, singles and the tracklist. In his latest promo clip, posted on justintimberlake.com alongside a letter to fans, the star differentiates 2 of 2 from its predecessor. "We've never done it like this, we usually take our time and I felt like it would drive the creativity in a different way," he says of the 20-day recording spree. "I feel like we had to sprint everyday and it would hyper-focus us."
Timberlake re-teamed with a couple of the 20/20 Experience producers, Timbaland and Jerome "J-Rock" Harmon included, for the sequel. Their first effort together, released Mar. 15, was the 32-year-old star's first album since 2006. It went nearly platinum in a week, and stands as the year's most successful album to date. The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 is expected Sept. 30.
