June Ambrose Gets the Green Light for VH1 Show
VH1 announced the super stylist will be making her TV debut in her own half-hour docu-series that’s set to premiere early next year. The show is tentatively called The June Ambrose Project (hope this changes! Um, hello? There’s already The Rachel Zoe Project and June’s too fab to wear a knockoff label).
VH1 says the show will follow “June and her team of tireless assistants take on a mix of up-and-coming and established celebrity clients — some actors, some musicians — who would like to re-imagine their looks and brands. Each episode will chronicle an image makeover and overall rebranding, culminating in a visually stunning event designed to focus on the celebrity’s new look.”
Ambrose knows her stuff. She’s dressed a long roster of stylish stars including Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z and Diddy.
In addition to following her fashionable projects, cameras will also roll as Ambrose juggles being a Rockmom, as she calls it, to her family, plus holding down the fort at her Mode Squad styling house where she's working on a book and a record label.
