Man Who Shot Tupac Makes A Jaw-Dropping Confession On One Of Tupac's Closest Rap Friends...
In yet another development to the 1994 Quad Recording Studios shooting, famously known as the initial gunfire attack on late hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur that would spark his deadly rap war with Notorious B.I.G., one of the two gunmen have come forth with a disheartening allegation.
According to Dexter Isaac, he was, indeed, the man behind the gun in the robbery-turned-shooting. But it was Pac’s close friend and late Queens-bred rapper Stretch who was the ringleader behind the entire thing, and all in exchange for an offer he apparently couldn’t pass up.
In a ‘Gully TV’ interview, Isaac shared specific details on Stretch’s role in the robbery
Currently serving a life sentence behind bars on Rikers Island, Isaac said that the Live Squad member led the attack from the inside. “Stretch set the whole sh** up,” he said. “He was in cahoots and was giving us the play-by-play where they was at.”
Isaac added that Stretch found an ally in music executive and notorious New York kingpin Jimmy Henchman, who Pac had long expected hatched the attack against him. The then 25-year-old would later reveal his suspicions in “Against All Odds” of The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory album.
The alleged offer on Stretch’s table to betray his friend? A quarter brick of cocaine
At least that’s how Isaac remembers it. Henchman put the offer on Pac’s head for $2,500, but didn’t get off from the incident without any side-eyes. Pac aired his grievances of Stretch’s negligence to step in on the near-fatal shooting for “All Eyez On Me” as well.
