See The One Thing Michelle Obama Says 'No' To Barack About
If you can remember that far back, the Obamas graced the White House with their presence, manners, and general presidential behavior.
And even though Barry was leader of the free world, his lovely wife, Michelle, was the behind-the-scenes check and balance that kept 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in order. But then that comes as no surprise, seeing as how she was the most educated FLOTUS our country has ever seen and formerly tutored Barack before he went on to run the U.S.
A new off-the-cuff profile of former Speaker of the House John Boehner via Politico reveals the extent to which MObama went to keep Barry on his best behavior — in the face of one vice in particular.
Barack famously became the first president to admit he'd ever smoked the ganj — and inhaled, obviously, because he's not about that sucker sh*t. (#ChoomGang)
But an even more persistent habit lied in smoking cigarettes. Barry reportedly smoked like a chimney his whole life, but when it was time to move into the White House, it was no longer advisable for America's dad to be about the cig life.
In the face of this commitment, Barack gave up smoking. But did he ever falter in his commitment? Not a chance, according to Boehner. When asked if Barry touched a ciggy in the WH, Boehner said the following:
“Oh no. No no no,” Boehner said. “He’s scared to death of his wife,” Boehner said of former first lady Michelle Obama. “Scared. To. Death.”
Never underestimate the power of the woman behind the man. Now if only our current administration's FLOTUS could get a head start on that bullying campaign in her own house...
