Target Says 'Target Black' Is A Hoax

A video has been circulating on TikTok that Target is opening "Target Black" in New York City in November. However, the video is a hoax.
A Target spokesperson told Insider, "The building featured in the video is the exterior of some of our office space in New York City. The content of the video is not accurate."
The fake video said "Target Black" was a “new premium content” store that would sell products from Balenciaga, Supreme and more. The video, which showed the entrance of a building with a black Target logo, has received over 1.4 million views. Target even commented, “Behind those doors is our New York offices!” see below:
