See How the Internet Trolled Stacey Dash for Black History Month
Stacey Dash may not believe in Black History Month, but that's not stopping those who do from celebrating it all over her Instagram comments. In one of the most hilarious instances of Internet trolling we've seen in a while, followers are leaving fists-up emojies and "Happy Black History Month" messages all over Dash's comments.
The Clueless star and Fox News host angered many when she declared the BET, the BET Awards and Fox News should all be abolished. After the backlash, she penned a blog post asking for an apology from Black Twitter, citing the fact that Morgan Freeman made similar comments several years ago.
"When I spoke out on Fox News and on my blog about the need to get rid of BET and Black History Month, all the same usual Twitter haters came out of the woodwork to troll me and say all sorts of disgusting things about me," she wrote last week. "If you're going to call me ignorant, stupid, and an Uncle Tom, you need to be intellectually honest and also call out Morgan Freeman."
Needless to say, she didn't get the apology she was seeking, and instead inspired the "trolls" to come at her even harder.
But Dash will have a chance to speak up for herself very soon. The political "pundit" announced on Tuesday morning that she'll be releasing her first memoir on June 6. She shared a mock up of the book, and its utterly hilarious title, on Instagram:
