‘The Craft’ Star Rachel True Blasts ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ For Racism, And Twitter Has Her Back

"For f***s sake, do better."

Rachel True has proven, in the past, that she is not afraid of confronting publications and events for racially motivated exclusions.

In fact, most recently, she showed once again that she is not willing to be trampled over when she called out The Hollywood Reporter for only listing her white co-stars while covering the recent news on The Craft's remake.

The actress, who starred as Rochelle in the 1996 classic, took to Twitter on Tuesday where she blasted the publication for the careless blunder.

"Is there any reason to not list me as one of the main actors in the original film @THR?!?!" she tweeted. "You've listed a white supporting castmate who wasn't 1 of the 4 main actors. For f***s sake, do better."

Take a look at her enraged tweet, below:

  • After seeing her critique, THR corrected the mistake, which the Half & Half star acknowledged in a series of tweets — one of which mentioned her name also being erased from The Craft coverage from several other media outlets.

"I am here to talk about the fact that a bunch of articles came out about [the The Craft remake] and didn't list my name in the original cast — they listed the other three girls," she said in a video. "I'm speaking out about this because it's erasure, right? Already, when The Craft comes on TV, my name's not listed."

The actress stressed that she's speaking out about this because "I want other brown girls who are reading these articles to see someone else's brown name in there. They literally have a picture of the four of us and don't mention my name!"

"I will not be erased while I'm still here," she said with a smile.

Take a look at her full response, below:

  • True's words didn't fall on deaf ears, either, as her fans rallied behind her, supporting her fight to be acknowledged.
