Jay-Z's latest offering 4:44 has been receiving incredible amounts of praise, especially from other hip hop contemporaries. Two, in particular, who felt the need to extensively share their thoughts on the lyrics of the album are exes Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, and the subliminal shots they took at one another were hard to miss.

Nicki started things off, sharing her excitement in the LP being an exclusive release for Tidal, Jay-Z's company which Nicki also serves as co-owner of. 

Specifically, she referenced Jigga's rhymes from "The Story of O.J." and "Kill Jay Z," with the MC saying on the former, "Y'all on the 'Gram holding money to your ear/There's a disconnect we don't call that money over here."

In a now deleted Instagram post, Meek seemed to fire back with words of his own as he seemingly believed Nicki's words — in reference to Jay-Z's money lyric — was a jab at him.

Despite their feud, both have a connection to Jigga, at least in a professional sense, with Meek signing a management deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation in May 2012 and they both being tidal co-owners as well.

It's a win-win for everyone involved.
