Chris Brown And Young Thug Set Internet Ablaze With ‘Slime & B’ Mixtape
Nearly a month after they first teased the project, R&B crooner Chris Brown and Atlanta trap music MC Young Thug’s collaborative mixtape, Slime & B, dropped at midnight on Tuesday (May 5).
Fans got a heads up that the project, which arrived on Brown’s 31st birthday, was rolling out less than 24 hours before it officially dropped after the R&B crooner teased a song snippet on Twitter on Monday (May 4). “Y'all ready?” he asked his fans. He also unveiled the mixtape’s official tracklist containing 13 songs via Instagram that same day, although he didn’t reveal any feature guests on the tracklist posted to his account. Previously, Breezy announced he and Young Thug were combining their musical forces via Instagram back in April.
Frequent collaborators Gunna and Future make an appearance on Slime & B in addition to contributions from Lil Duke, Too $hort, Hoody Baby, and E-40 amongst others. Prior to this, Young Thug and Breezy have previously collaborated on songs such as ““Dat Night,” and “Wrist,” and the Future-assisted “High End” off of Brown’s Heartbreak on a Full Moon album.

The mixtape, which was released through SoundCloud, instantly trended across social media and fans are already singing their praises for the joint mixtape.
“The audacity Slime & B has to be THIS good. Like who would have thought Chris Brown and Young Thug would link up LIKE THIS?” one person commented on Twitter.
“Young Thug can adapt and do anything he wants, the chemistry with Chris Brown is absolutely nuts on this tape,” a second chimed in.
“Slime & B is the best project of 2020 so far. No cap,” a third added.
