NeNe Leakes Teams Up With Fashion Fair Cosmetics for Cinderella Collection
NeNe Leakes has been doing a knockout job gracing the stage in Broadway’s Cinderella and to celebrate the first Black titular role played by Keke Palmer, Fashion Fair Cosmetics partnered with the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and the production company for a fun beauty event.
The Black-owned cosmetics company hosted a meet-and-greet and makeover event on Dec. 4 with Leakes at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. The actress, who plays the evil stepmother, Madame, showcased a signature look from the beauty brand’s latest line inspired by the Broadway play, the Cinderella Collection. Guests were also treated to makeovers from Fashion Fair makeup talents, including celebrity makeup artist and the brand’s global creative director, Tia Dantzler.
Fashion Fair and Cinderella sponsored a raffle for two tickets to the beloved Broadway production, which will end its run Jan. 3.
"As a longtime fan of the play, I am extremely excited that our brand had the opportunity to partner with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella as the production welcomes NeNe Leakes to the cast," said Amy Hilliard, president of Fashion Fair Cosmetics. "As the first cosmetic brand developed specifically for women of color, it’s an honor to partner with this play as we all welcome the first Black Cinderella on Broadway," she continued.
The Cinderella Collection will be available exclusively in select Macy’s stores in the New York Tri-state area from now until the end of the year.
