Tank’s R&B Cover Of This Megan Thee Stallion Song Has Fans Weak In The Knees
Just a few days ago, Megan Thee Stallion had social media lit after she freestyled Tupac’s "Hit ‘Em Up" on Sway in the Morning, impressing A-lister Taraji P. Henson and OG rap baddie Trina.
Now, the Houston native can add another celebrity to her fan base: R&B icon Tank. In fact, he was so impressed that he couldn’t help but bless our ears with an R&B rendition of Megan’s hit song "Big Ole Freak."
On Tuesday (June 11), he surprised fans with a cover of the song right before midnight. Playing a few keys on a piano, he did a quick little vocal run just to show us what he was working with.
“Why am i loving this song so much!!” he wrote in the caption posted with the video.
Actor Laz Alonso commented under the video, writing, “U need to put out this song asap.” Al B. Sure! also co-signed the cover, leaving a string of fire emojis in the comments.

Megan was seemingly feeling Tank’s remix, too. She commented on The Shade Room’s post of the video, writing “he better sang.”
The surprise has fans clamoring for a remix. With a soulful voice and discography full of equally freaky-deaky bops like Tank’s, who can blame them? As Monique once said, I would like to see it.
