Suge Knight Defends Lil Wayne, Threatens Drake

Former Death Row leader has New Year's resolutions for himself and YMCMB.

Suge Knight isn't known for mincing his words.

A TMZ camera guy asked the Black Kapital CEO to share his New Year’s resolutions, and rather than lead with something positive or meaningful, he mused about making sure that his enemies “get their justice.” He then briefly mentioned something about a book and a movie, then went right back to making revenge the main goal for 2015. “This is the year for getting even,” he promised.

In the next breath, the former label executive discussed a Tupac documentary and challenged “real Tupac fans” to be more vocal about his still unsolved murder. After that comment, he moved on to Lil Wayne’s label struggles. “Shouts out to Lil Wayne for being free,” said the Death Row Records founder. “Lil Wayne is somebody I got a lot of love for, I got a lot of respect for. It ain’t about picking him up, it’s about having his back. Because of Wayne most people got their passes so they better patch it up.”

That wasn’t all Knight had to say about matters that don’t involve him. He threatened Drake right after supporting Weezy. “Long as you stay down with Wayne, you don’t gotta worry about the last dance wit' the dancer. It comes.”
