Kourtney Kardashian’s Custom Dolce & Gabbana Wedding Dress Was Inspired By ‘1960s Italian Lingerie’!
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker donned custom Dolce & Gabbana wedding attire at their intimate wedding ceremony on Sunday (May 22). Here’s what we know about the fashions from the intimate affair held in Portofino, Italy!
According to Vogue, the wedding was hosted by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana at their Villa Olivetta estate. Appropriately, the blushing bride glowed in a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda corset mini dress for the big day. According to reports, the modern satin and lace gown was inspired by "1960s Italian lingerie."
Kourtney completed her look with tulle gloves, lace pumps, and a grandiose hand-embroidered veil that featured a portrait of the Virgin Mary. Barker's tattoo reportedly inspired the religious motif on the veil.
“Designing my dresses with Domenico and Stefano has been a dream come true in every way,” Kardashian told the media outlet about working with the founders of the luxury Italian fashion brand to create her dream ensemble.
The groom turned to Dolce & Gabbana for his star-studded nuptials.
Congratulations to Mr. And Mrs. Barker on their 'happily ever after.'
