The Kardashian girls just can't get a break. Just as the storm of negative press around Kim's divorce begins to clear, another one is brewing on the horizon. This time, Kim Kardashian and her sisters have been accused by a human rights advocacy group of using unfair labor practices (aka, sweatshops) to produce some pieces of their clothing line. These allegations have nothing to do with their products sold at Sears.

RadarOnline.com published the report, which claims Chinese laborers who made items for the Kardashian collection were paid only eight cents a garment. Star Magazine and Radar went so far as to claim that the factory employees manufacturing K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, which was cofounded by Kim, worked up to 84 hours a week in non-air-conditioned facilities earning $1 per hour.

Before denying the allegations, the Kardashians told E! Online that they take them "very seriously." Later, a spokesperson for the sisters confirmed that "the story is not true." TMZ also reports that the leader of the human rights group that allegedly accused the Kardashians of using child labor says there is currently "no proof" of any wrongdoing. 

Charles Kernaghan, executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, tells TMZ he told Star Magazine, "It was a wise idea to wait on the article," because he had no proof that the specific factories the Kardashians use violated child labor standards or human rights. 

Star Magazine, clearly, ignored his request.
