DMX to be Released From Prison July 1
The troubled rapper will finish up his latest bid under supervised watch.
DMX, who is currently six months into a year-long sentence for violating his probation, will be released from jail on July 31st, according to court records pulled up by HipHopDX.
The former Ruff Ryders rapper returned to prison in December of 2010 after being charged with drug possession while on probation from a previous arrest for aggravated assault. X has an extensive criminal record with 13 stints in jail, and upon his last sentencing, a judge speculated that he may suffer from "an undiagnosed medical condition," possibly bi-polar disorder. He was temporarily admitted to a mental health facility.
After being released at the end of July, DMX will be placed under supervised watch until August 12.
