New Young Money Label Imprint Coming Soon

Mack Maine will head new division to help cope with growing number of releases.

To help manage the growing roster at Lil Wayne's Young Money and Birdman's Cash Money labels, Young Money president Mack Maine announced plans to start a new subsidiary label of YMCMB.

"I'm actually in the process of starting a new label...a sub-label, basically," Mack told MTV News of the label he will head under the Cash Money umbrella.

In addition to the music of founders Lil Wayne and Birdman, YMCMB artists include Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Lil Twist, Cory Gunz, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Shanell and Bow Wow. To help cope with the steady volume of albums the label plans to release, Maine will head the new, untitled division to make sure all artists get the attention they deserve.

"I want to make sure I put a few people out through that vessel instead of putting everybody out under the same label, which is hard," he said. "But we're all one big family."

Maine has his work cut out for him. In addition to his new album, upcoming YMCMB releases include Wayne's Tha Carter IV, Birdman's Bigger Than Life, Tyga's Careless World, Lil Twist's debut, Don't Get it Twisted, and Drake's sophomore release, Take Care.
