Snoop Dogg Commemorates 200th Episode of GGN Web Series
To celebrate 200 episodes of Double G News (GGN), Snoop Dogg is turning the Web series into a podcast debuting on iTunes today (March 10). According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 43-year-old's plans to air his most popular episodes (including one with Seth Rogen, and a Game of Thrones recap) for the first podcast, and welcomed will.i.am as guest for the 200th show.
"This is huge for GGN," the Long Bech native said of reaching the milestone. "We started this as an idea nearly four years ago. I knew my fans would be into it cuz nobody was giving them that hood perspective. No matter who the guest is on the show, people know that Nemo H**s is gonna ask the real questions and get real answers. That uncut raw realness is why today we join the ranks of The Jeffersons, The Cosby Show and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

GGN is a partnership with the Cashmere Agency, which takes care of production and booking guests. “Snoop has been a tremendous partner throughout the years that we've been working together on GGN. That’s why we are so proud to unveil our 200th episode featuring our friend will.i.am,” said Ryan Ford, executive vice president of Cashmere. “This is a real achievement in the online content space — 200 straight weeks of compelling content from an entrainment icon."
Uncle Snoop launched GGN back in 2011.
