Jhené Aiko had fans in a frenzy after flaunting a massive new ring, but the singer quickly shut down the speculation—putting the brakes on any Big Sean engagement rumors. 

The rumor mill got spinning over the weekend after the “W.A.Y.S.” singer was spotted with a large ring on her left ring finger during a night out at the GQ Men of the Year event with the Detroit rapper. 

However, shortly after, Jhené took to social media, where she noted, “This ring is from my stylist. " In response to a clip of her showing off the massive sparkler, she explained that “it only fit on that finger.” The singer ended her post by writing, “The more you know.”

In another response to someone asking her to clarify that it is “not a wedding ring,” the singer wrote, “Correct .”

“I did get myself something beautiful for my right hand tho,” the 36-year-old added.

Big Sean addressed questions about marriage during his appearance on Charlamagne Tha God’s “Out of Context” podcast in August. The “All Me” rapper clarified that “there has not been a secret industry marriage.” 

Sean revealed that their relationship has seen “ups and downs” and that the pair were “still finding the right navigation through it all.”

Still, the “Living Single” rapper said the idea of marriage wasn’t off the table entirely but that he “don't like putting our personal business out there like that either.”
