On November 16, 2024, Las Vegas witnessed the grand opening of Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace's winter residency at TAO Beach, The Venetian Resort, with a special appearance by R&B icon Usher. The event marked the transformation of the 47,000-square-foot TAO Beach Dayclub into a vibrant roller-skating venue, featuring a 3,250-square-foot rink covering the venue's two pools.

Usher, a partner in Flipper's World alongside co-founders Liberty Ross and Kevin Wall, has been instrumental in bringing this unique experience to Las Vegas. His passion for roller skating was evident during his Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance earlier this year, where he showcased his skating skills.

The residency offers an immersive roller-skating experience for all ages, with special programming for guests aged 21 and over. Operating from Thursday to Sunday, noon to 8 p.m., the venue provides skate rentals and encourages guests to bring their own skates.

Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace aims to create inclusive spaces that celebrate the joy of roller skating, featuring top artists and DJs to enhance the experience. The Las Vegas residency is set to run through early 2025, offering both locals and visitors a unique blend of nostalgia and modern entertainment.
