[Watch] Girls Gone Way Too Wild
Bikinis gone bad.
Three South Carolina women, believed to be responsible for a violent assault that looks like a scene straight out of Worldstar Hip Hop, have been arrested and charged with second-degree assault and battery by a mob. Arlinda Craft, Anns Leigh Hill and Megan Williams, age 18, 19, and 20 respectively, were identified thanks to a graphic video of the violent incident that took place on March 15.
The video shows the three bikini-clad women jumping on the victim and hitting her repeatedly in the face and on the body. The victim, who reportedly lost consciousness during the assault, needed treatment for numerous injuries, including lacerations and a concussion.
WFSB reports that the three women, who all have a criminal past, attacked the unidentified victim after Williams approached her and asked why the victim had been talking about her. It was at this point that one of the other women picked the victim up by her hair as the other two began beating her.
The victim told The State that no one on the beach came to her aid during the attack. "No one defended me out of the 30 people that were hanging around, which is really pathetic in my eyes," she recounted. Indeed, in the video a man's voice can be heard telling onlookers to not get involved or try to break up the attack.
Ramy Williams, a friend of the victim, said, "Seeing the aftermath was just insane. The way that she had blood all over her face, two black eyes, you can tell that she's completely messed up in the face."
A local police spokesman said that additional charges are still being considered against the three attackers. The the victim, meanwhile, says she still fears for her safety. "They paid their bond and they are out roaming the streets as we speak," she said.
The records of the three attackers are lined with substance possession, drunk driving charges, and even previous cases of assault.
