Sheree Zampino Opens Up About Her Co-Parenting Experience With Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith
Sheree Zampino is opening up about her co-parenting experience with her ex-husband Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
On Monday's episode of the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star dished on the mindset it took to co-parent with the couple and ensure her son Trey Smith received a well-rounded upbringing.
“You got three different dynamics, three different personalities, and different belief systems, different way of doing things. And there were times we have bumped heads and it hasn't been pretty,” Zampino explained before expressing why it was imperative they all worked together for the best outcome.
“We get back on that horse and we press on," she added. "We do what we have to do because again, at the end of the day, it's about the kids. We have a responsibility to them."
FYI: Will Smith and Sheree Zampino were married for three years before calling it quits in 1995. Will later married Jada in 1997, when Trey was 5-years-old. The married couple share son Jaden and daughter Willow.
“My thing was with Jada — it was like, as long as she treats him well, we’re good,” Zampino shared before confirming Jada has always “loved” her son.
She continued, “Anybody could have been Trey’s mother. Anybody could have been Jaden and Willow’s mother. But the fact that He picked the three of us — He being God — I think that’s why we were able to do it and show the world.”
