Angela Bassett Promises ‘Black Panther’ Sequel Will ‘Top’ The First One
Angela Bassett is already promising audiences that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is going to be a smash hit during a Monday appearance on Ellen.
The 9-1-1 star chatted with the talk show host and shared the sequel will “top” the first one.
“There will be a Black Panther two,” said the actress.
“November. Look for it in November. It will be amazing," Bassett said. "It is going to be amazing. It is going to top one."
She also reflected on her time with Chadwick Boseman, who appeared as the titular before his untimely passing.

"He was such an example. Such a leader, amazing talent, we all know that. Big heart, great intellect, and we hope to just raise his standard," said the Golden Globe recipient.
BET.com previously reported the movie will resume production with Letitia Wright, who sustained an injury while filming, after rumors circulated that she would be exiting the franchise after sharing her anti-vaccine views on set.
She addressed those rumors with an Instagram post, writing “the report spoke about my conduct on the set of Black Panther 2 — I honestly assert that this was completely untrue."
You still have a few months to gather your tribe as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters on Nov. 11.
