Bobby Brown, Pat Houston Keep Vigil at Bobbi Kristina's Side
Bobby Brown rushed to be by his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's side on Thursday, after learning the 22-year-old was moved to hospice care. Brown arrived in Atlanta just one day after Bobbi Kristina was transferred to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, an hour away from her home in Alpharetta.
According to sources, Pat Houston also arrived at the center on Thursday, where Bobbi Kristina's relatives are keeping vigil at her bedside in what are expected to be her final days.
"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," Houston said in a statement this week. "We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
The music scion's family seems to be coming to terms with her condition and focused on her care, while her conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, is gearing up for a legal battle with Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon. Hargrove, who filed a civil suit against Gordon this week, claims he physically abused Bobbi Kristina and stole tens of thousands of dollars from her even as she lay in a coma.
Gordon may also face murder charges from the Fulton County district attorney if the allegations pan out and Bobbi Kristina dies as a result.
As Bobbi Kristina nears the end, we can only hope that she will be reunited with her mother, Whitney Houston, on the other side. Watch Clive Davis talk about Whitney's profound legacy in our interview below:
