Blueface To Plead Guilty For Involvement In Shooting At Strip Club
Blueface has reportedly pleaded guilty to a felony charge.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the rapper was in court on Monday (June 26) for what was supposed to be a preliminary hearing. But instead of his attorneys and the prosecution meeting to determine if there was enough evidence to bring a charge, he decided to plead guilty to two charges overall.
Blueface (born Johnathan Jamall Porter) pleaded guilty to one felony count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and one misdemeanor battery charge. He will formally enter his plea on July 3 with prosecutor Nick Portz noting that the state of Nevada would not oppose a probation sentence.
Blueface Expected To Be Released On $50K Bail, Following Arrest
All other charges against the rapper will be dropped as a result.
The charges levied against Blueface come from his connection to an incident where he was accused of pulling a gun and shooting at a truck driver in October 2022. Video footage shows the rapper outside a Las Vegas club where he allegedly drew a weapon and fired it several times at the driver.
According to TMZ, who has obtained the video clip, the driver walked into the club earlier that night and was reportedly attacked by Blueface’s crew. It is unclear what started the altercation.
The driver later made it back to his vehicle and drove up on Blueface and his crew outside as they were leaving the venue, and that is when the shooting occurred. On November 15, he was arrested for attempted murder in Las Vegas.
