The cast of the forthcoming film Widows is currently on the promo trail ahead of the film's release and in staying true to the theme of the drama, we asked them to detail a personal story about a time something precious was stolen from them.

Brian Tyree Henry and Michelle Rodriguez delved right into the question sharing two memorable moments from their respective childhoods.

Rodriguez kicked things off, explaining a time when a school bully crossed the line and got a rude awakening.

"It was a respect thing," Rodriguez said. "There was a chunky kid in grammar school. I was like about maybe 12 years old. He was bulky and tough and he kicked my mom when she came to pick me up... And so, I got so pissed off, I went to go and fight him and I go to drop kick him and my f*****g leg just bounced off of his belly. It was the most embarrassing thing."

She added that, determined to get revenge, she quickly ran home to relate the incident to her older brother, who handled the situation in her honor.

"He goes across the street and finds the kid and lifts him up by his neck and slams him on the floor," she said with a laugh.

Henry kept it short and sweet, sharing that he and his sisters had a give-and-take relationship that often led to him always trying to get even.

"Most of my stuff was stolen from me by my sisters," Henry said. "And If I ever wanted to get them back, then I took their feminine products and stole those, 'cause I'm a G."
