Keyshia Cole Reveals Her Genius Strategy When It Comes To ‘Love & Hip Hop’
Keyshia Cole's gotten her fair share of criticism for joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
However, once the season premiered and fans caught a glimpse of her story, it became clear that she's not playing the game like the others. The singer reveals in a new interview that she's making some strategic decisions when it comes to her storylines.
In a sit-down interview, the "I Should've Cheated" songstress shed light on the positives she believes she can take away from the position she's now in.
"It's a great platform and I feel like it's a great driver to actually get more people to listen to my music in a positive way," she said.
So, what does she think of the criticism that reality TV infamously places its subjects in positions of confrontation?
"I've heard about things that I should be concerned about but I just don't want to feel like I'm being pressured to do any filming just for the sake of filming because I think that's where people run into maybe confrontation or personalities that you don't already necessarily know because you don't know what to expect," she added. "So I have no problems and no issues and I'm happy about that."
She also talks about how she deals with "fake convos" and troublemaking co-stars that she's not interested in sharing screen time with. Take a look at the clip, below:
