Kitti Jones, one of R. Kelly’s alleged victims of abuse, opened up to Rolling Stone about the years she dated the singer, from 2011 to 2013, in a new exposé, "Surviving  R. Kelly." The former radio DJ for Dallas hip-hop and R&B station 97.9 The Beat is much different from Kelly’s other alleged victims who were in their teens when they met him — she had a career, a child, a car, friends and was every bit independent, but still managed to get “trapped” under his thumb and endure years of physical and verbal abuse.

Kitti admitted to always having a crush on Kelly, calling him her “Brad Pitt.” Here’s her recount of her first sexual encounter with the R&B crooner after meeting him at one of his concerts and then engaging in a text relationship with him for two months after before finally meeting again in person:

“He brushed past me," Jones told Rolling Stone. "I'm thinking we're going to hug or peck each other. But he plopped down on the couch and pulled out his penis and started pleasuring himself."

"Maybe he just has weird ways of getting off," Jones said she chalked the experience up to.

However, his requests became increasingly alarming.

“'I gotta teach you how to be with me’ and ‘I gotta train you.’ He was like a drill sergeant even when he was pleasuring me," Jones said. "He was telling me how to bend my back or move my leg here. I'm like, 'Why is he directing it like this?' It was very uncomfortable."

Despite the red flags, Jones was starting to falling for Kelly. "Rob kinda makes you feel like you have to defend him," she said. "It's like you and him against the world. If someone brought him up [in conversation], immediately a wall went up."

Her coworkers were in favor of her shacking up with the star and supported her decision quit her job, sell her car and move from Dallas into the Kelly’s Chicago apartment — after all it was R-freaking-Kelly. Kitti explains how he began governing every detail of her life, down to his request that she only wear baggy sweatpants outside and real-time updates on her whereabouts. She says she was forced to text the singer or one of his employees for simple things like using the bathroom!

Shortly after the alleged abuse began — kicking, slapping, cursing, starvation — and with no job or money anymore, Kitti felt ashamed. "He would start kicking me, telling me I was a stupid b***h [and] don't ever get in his business." 

She tells Rolling Stone that she became suicidal but managed to finally get out. Since coming forward, Kitti seems to be doing well and is even CEO of her own company and writing a tell-all book.
