After A Decade, Lil Kim Is Getting Back Into the Rap Game

The rapper announces new music coming next week.

While it’s not an official studio album, Lil Kim has taken to Twitter to announce that her “best work is yet to come.”

Along with the announcement of her comeback, the rapper shared the artwork for her forthcoming mixtape, titled Lil Kim Season, which is due out next week on March 28.

Her last full-length release was 2005’s Naked Truth, more than a decade since she has released new music. While fans eagerly await her next studio project, a mixtape is a sure sign that at the very least the rapper is getting back into the studio groove, breaking her hiatus.

This past December, Lil Kim released a remix of Omarion’s “I’m Up,” titled "This B*tch," which was foreshadowing the rapper returning to the spotlight on a more regular basis, much to the delight of her dedicated fan base.

Looks like a strong comeback is in the works.
