Top Dawg Entertainment had a great year last year and they’re looking to do the same in 2016 as well.

The label Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and others call home recently announced they’re slated to release at least four albums this year. In an interview with MTV, TDE President Dave Free said fans can expect albums from SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, and Schoolboy Q.

“A lot of artists didn’t come out in 2015,” he told the site, “By the time we come back around on this next go? Oh my goodness. It’s gonna crazy. We’re gonna have everybody hittin’. That’s what’s gonna be sick. That’s what’s gonna be fun. That’s what I’m excited about.”

Free also added how excited he was for fans and media alike to hear what’s coming from his label.

“I’m excited for people to hear the new SZA album,” he continued, “I’m stupid excited for y’all to hear the Isaiah Rashad album. I’m stupid excited for y’all to hear the new Ab-Soul. I’m so excited for y’all to hear Q’s album. Oh my God. These are songs I’ve been living with. I already know what it’s gonna do.”

In 2015, Kendrick Lamar received a historic 11 Grammy Nominations for his LP To Pimp A Butterfly and Jay Rock dropped his well-received sophomore 90059 album in September. At the beginning of last year, TDE co-founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith announced his plans for the label for that year, so this pattern of letting everyone know what’s coming is not unprecedented.
