Jeezy Visits Philly Juvenile Detention Center
Whether it be monetarily or simply spending time with fans, we’ve seen lots of examples opening their hearts for good causes. Last week, Jeezy shared motivating words with a group at a Philadelphia juvenile detention center.
The “Church in the Streets” rapper, who was in town for a show at the Union Transfer, flew in early to visit with the Juvenile Justice Service Center, Philly’s only secure detention center.
Jeezy connected with the group of youngsters ranging from ages 13-20 by letting them know that he was once just like them. He also urged them to take responsibility for their actions, and encouraged better decision-making in the future.
JJSC houses accused juvenile felony offenders and those deemed high risk to the community’s safety.
