Janet Jackson Pumps The Break On Her Unbreakable Tour
The key to longevity is understanding when not to overexert yourself and Ms. Jackson is in the business of long lasting careers.
The icon, who’s been tearing down stages on her Unbreakable Tour, is putting the brakes on a few dates to charge up her vocal chords.
The singer/dancer/actress has canceled her October 9 and October 10 shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and moving her Las Vegas stop to a 20,000 seat arena in May.
Live Nation announced Thursday that ticket holders will be given full refunds and be allowed first dibs on the new date for the May 14 performance. Tickets for the new show will go on sale October 16.
Janet’s cancellation will be a blow to the Caesars Ent. Corp which boasts famous shows from Brittney Spears and new Vegas show runner Jennifer Lopez.
MGM Grand Resorts in conjunction with AEG concert presenters are hoping to set Ms. Jackson up at the new arena behind the New York-New York and Monte Carlo resorts that open in May.
