Listen to a Snippet of Rita Ora's Chris Brown Collaboration
Rita Ora and Chris Brown have been teasing their collaboration for weeks now and we couldn’t be more excited.
On Aug. 7, the U.K. singer will release her new single, “Body on Me,” for the masses. It follows “Poison,” a song that was released in June to start the conversation about her next album.
When speaking with Ebro on Hot 97, she revealed the concept of her U.S. debut “is all about the p***y power.”
“It’s really about how we get judged for the things that we do and how men don’t,” she says. “I know it’s part of society, but I think we can still stick together as females. And also, I feel like at the moment, females have never been closer — pop stars, specifically. It’s an exciting time for females in this industry.”
In another interview with The Sun, she spoke about why collaborating with Brown was so important to her. “I love him on different levels. I see how he treats his people and he’s a good person with a good heart and a lovely family. It’s really nice that we finally got together because, regardless of what’s happened, the song is just amazing.”
