Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle Are Cool Again
It's already been a big week for love, and now Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle are getting into the spirit of things by ending their years-long beef. The divas are putting their differences aside and even hinted that they will be taking the stage together soon.
“There is a very special performance that is coming up,” The Real host tells ET. “With the whole women empowerment and everyone coming together, and everyone coming from a place where we can all understand each other, I’m doing a very special performance with myself and K. Michelle.”
She continued, “In the past, we’ve both had a lot of disagreements, I guess life in general. This is actually the first time we’ll be meeting each other. I’m just really excited because I’m really about girls sticking up for each other and being there for each other, and it’s time for all the nonsense to stop and let’s just empower each other and be great.”
Michelle also shared the news on Twitter. "Headed to rehearsal for tomorrow. Can't wait to get to singing today with @tamarbraxtonher and our special surprise. This is GREAT 4 music," she wrote.
Braxton spoke about the reason for her feud with K. Michelle on a recent episode of The Real, breaking down in tears as she explained how "a particular person started saying I look like a muppet, and people say it so much sometimes I start to believe it.” Michelle at one point threw in the towel. "I really just want us to sing," she said.
Seems like the rumor that the two are planning this special surprise for the 2015 BET Awards is true. We won't confirm or deny. Stay tuned Sunday (June 28) at 8P/7C to find out! Tamar Braxton is slated to perform live from L.A.
