iLoveMakonnen’s life changed the moment Drake remixed his iLoveMakonnen EP single “Club Goin’ Up on a Tuesday.”

Makonnen was obviously super excited to hear Drake on his record. (Remember his reaction?) “Tuesday” was officially a hit, receiving copious amounts of praise from music publications and fans last year. His biggest highlight was performing the song live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with the Roots, which marked Makonnen’s transition from unknown singer/rapper to superstar.

Thanks to the success of “Tuesday,” Makonnen just earned his first Platinum plaque. The RIAA tweeted this pic of Makonnen holding the plaque that’s also decorated with his famous mannequin head.

Congrats to Makonnen! Keep going up.
