Naughty and nice elements blend on The Weeknd’s “Earned It,” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.

The track, which was released Monday (Dec. 23), doesn't play into the film's S&M premise, instead sticking with what fans enjoy from The Weeknd: music that makes love sound both dangerous and intoxicating.

"'Cause girl you’re perfect, you’re always worth it, and you deserve it, the way you work it. Girl you earned it,” he croons above the instrumental. 

The sultry song is the most recent offering from the highly anticipated film, following Beyoncé's steamy rehash of her 2003 hit single, “Crazy in Love."

Fifty Shades of Grey is due in theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
