50 Cent Announces New BMF Film
50 Cent is flexing his production chops again. Following the recent premiere of Power, a Starz original series that Fif executive produces, the Animal Ambition rapper took to Twitter Tuesday (June 10) to announce another gangsta-inspired production he is cooking up.
"I'm out of control now, watch my next move. STRATEGY," Fif posted along with an image describing B.M.F, a film about the Black Mafia Family, started by brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory, which he will be producing.
The rise and fall of Black Mafia Family, including their more than a decade-long drug operation from 1990 to 2005, has been written about and glorified on tracks like Rick Ross's "BMF" and Young Jeezy's "B.M.F.," which features audio from Big Meech; Fif will bring it to life in movie form with his production company, Cheetah Vision.
The G-Unit boss has yet to reveal when production starts or who's being considered for the cast.
