James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond's murder-for-hire trial stemming from the 2009 shooting death of a G-Unit associate ended in a hung jury Friday (March 7), reports XXL. Rosemond was staring down four counts, including conspiracy to commit murder. 

The 40-year-old former music manager and his accused cohort Rodney Johnson were both up for murder charges for the slaying of Lowell Fletcher, a friend to 50 Cent's G-Unit family. Earlier this week, Johnson was convicted on three separate drug and weapons charges unrelated to Fletcher's death. 

Fletcher's murder was brought on by a long-standing feud between G-Unit and the Game, who was formerly managed by Rosemond. 

According to witness testimony, the former Czar Entertainment boss hatched a plot to kill Fletcher solely due to his affiliation with 50's imprint. He also allegedly stalked the Queens MC and had one of his connects shoot up Tony Yayo's Bentley in retaliation for an incident involving Rosemond's teenage son. 

More recounts revealed that Sean "Diddy" Combs championed an ill-fated attempt to make peace between both sides that resulted in a fight. 

Rosemond faces life in prison or the death penalty on top of the life sentence he was already handed for using his entertainment business as a front for an $11 million cocaine ring.

A mistrial doesn't keep Rosemond off the hook for Fletcher's murder. The U.S. Government can potentially retry the accused killer and convicted drug kingpin.
