2 Chainz Reveals Employee Allegedly Stole From His Atlanta Nail Shop

The rapper says he’s choosing grace over revenge in a since-deleted post.

2 Chainz recently suffered an unfortunate setback that hit close to home.

On Thursday (March 20), the “Mercy” emcee took to Instagram to open up about a personal and disappointing experience involving one of his employees in a clip that has since been removed from his page.

While walking through the Atlanta neighborhood where his businesses are located, the 47-year-old entertainer shared that someone who worked for him at one of his female-focused establishments allegedly stole from him.

“My businesses, they help women,”  he said in the video. “Esco, it's mostly women that work there, the nail shop is all women.” He went on to explain, “You know, for a girl that was working in there for me, with me…to go back in there and steal all the stuff out of there, the TVs, the sofas.”

The “Birthday Song” rapper revealed that the theft left him unable to recover what was taken. “The girl went back in there and stole everything out of there. And I ain't gon' press charges. I ain't gon' do nothing. But I just want you to see this and feel this.”

He captioned the post with the phrase, “No good deed goes unpunished. I’m not even mad, I know it’s hard out here … it’s the principle,” alongside a screenshot of the idiom’s definition.

Fellow artists showed him love in the comments. Killer Mike wrote, “U real 'Player' and Gentleman. U gonna stay blessed cuz u blessing others. Salutes to u and then crew that stay Tru to U.”

2 Chainz is the owner of several businesses, including Esco Restaurant & Tapas and Pamper Nail Studio.
