Lil Reese Arrested While Sleeping in His Car

Rapper has to face criminal trespassing charges.

Lil Reese was arrested in Chicago after police found him sleeping in a car early Sunday (April 28). According to the Chicago Tribune, the 20-year-old was busted three days after a warrant was issued for his arrest, stemming from a trespassing incident in February 2012.

Reese, born Tavares Taylor, was taken into custody on the 4400 block of South Wells Street at around 4 a.m. A patrolling officer found him sound asleep in the vehicle.

The Chicago native who is a member of Chief Keef's GBE collective faces charges of criminal trespass to a residence with a person present, mob action, and battery. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

This isn't the first time Reese has found himself in trouble with the law. In May 2010 he pleaded guilty to burglary charges, for which he received two years probation. In mid-April he was pulled over for driving without a license or insurance, and failing to use his turn signal.

Last October, the Def Jam signee sparked outrage after an old video of him viciously beating a woman went viral. He later apologized for the attack via Twitter, and asked not to be judged for his "past."
